I am the daddy of two wonderful children and husband to a wonderful partner and mommy.
On evening in the Fall of 2007, after reading my childrens’ bedtime book selection for the umpteenth time, I decided to shake up our bedtime routine. When I finished the book, I announced that it was now time for a Daddy Story. I tucked them in and turned out the light, and then proceeded to make up a story on the spot. It was a big hit, so I’ve been doing almost nightly ever since.
I will often do a plot summary for my wife when I return downstairs. She has liked enough of them to convice me to write them down. And that is why this blog now exists.
(I reserve the right to embellish, modify, improve, or make worse the written down versions of my oral bedtime stories as I see fit, so you may not be getting the same experience as my kids.)
